Wine brand design – student work

For this project we were required to research and develop a new wine brand with logo, label design and wine bottle image, in addition to a website wireframe for desktop and mobile. I selected the name Nocturnalis from the options we were given, and a Cabernet Sauvignon from the Alexander Valley region, due to my familiarity with the area. I pictured the beautiful rolling hills and valleys with a rising moon. The hills became a deep red rose and the moon became the logo lettermark. I photographed a wine bottle with grape leaves from my family’s backyard, and added my label in Photoshop, along with one of my first landscape paintings of Sonoma County from when I was a student in BealArt. The rose photograph and feather painting were also my own works, to further illustrate the fruitful union of earth and sky. 2017
